The PedalSnake® System

PedalSnake replaces all the cables between a guitar player's effects pedals and amp, making for a faster, super clean, and ultra quiet rig. The novel cabling methods employed are made possible by the low impedance outputs of the effects pedals.

You customize PedalSnake to your rig. Two types of Pigtails into the BaseSnake's channels: G-Lines (1/4" GuitarLines), and P-Lines (PowerLines) to carry power from pedals' power supplies.

Choose One of Two Options

PedalSnake users generally choose one of two options:

Replace Only Pedals-to-Amp Cables

For those who wish to continue to run a power extension cord to a pedalboard power supply, they end up with two cables:
  1. PedalSnake System
  2. AC power cord to power supply

Low Voltage Method: Replace All Cables

With PedalSnake's patented Low Voltage Method, they lose the power cord, and their rig has only one cable:

  1. PedalSnake System
See Low Voltage Method below.

These are the happiest PedalSnake customers.

Here are some illustrations as to how these two options can transform traditional pedal cabling.

Traditional Pedal Rig Cabling (Without PedalSnake)

Cabling, especially in the best sounding and most versatile rigs (i.e., gain-master tube amps with FX Loops), can become a burden, and an eyesore. A typical setup is setup like this:

Replace Only Pedals-to-Amp Cables (With PedalSnake)

Some players are committed to power supplies on their pedalboard. They replace all the cables except the power cord. While this can be a great help, most eventually switch to PedalSnake’s Low Voltage Method (shown at bottom), the ultimate "one cable" solution.

Low Voltage Method: Replace All Cables (with PedalSnake)

PedalSnake’s Low Voltage Method is the "only one cable" solution...no more power cord. Power supplies, along with their transformer noise, move away from the pedals, back with the amp. Their low-voltage runs thru PedalSnake P-Lines to power the pedals. This is the cleanest, quietest, fastest setup. To find out more about PedalSnake technology, see Low Noise, Tone, and Reliability.
